During Black History month, Mrs. Selby’s students got a chance to learn about a famous African American each day & discovered how they helped make our country a better place. This week, they are completing a research project on a person of their choice from the “timeline of greatness” & will present their findings to the class.

The Devil's Depot, your RMS school store, will be open Thursday 12pm-1:30pm and 5pm to 6:30pm during conferences.

What a day ❤️ Richmond Choir went three for three First Division Ratings and all qualified for States in the 2024 MSVMA Choral Festival. Students received combined scores from three adjudicators and a fourth score in sightreading. States will be held in Marysville at the end of April. Bravo to our students, directed by Mrs. Michele Maples, and accompanied by Mr. Matt Manhart. It was exciting to see the huge turnout of parents too 💙 thank you for your support! If you have any pictures of the middle school choir, please forward to Mrs. Maples at mmaples@richmond.k12.mi.us

Students in Mrs. Hanns class started their planet research project today in STEAM. They will research all the planets and then choose one to do a final presentation on. 🌏

Students from Mrs. Fitzgeralds class started their pasta cars in STEAM today. They are starting to take shape and will be tested on a ramp in a few days. We are still in need of pasta (lasagna noodles and wheel noodles are used the most!) and other items for our fun STEAM activities. All donations are greatly appreciated. 💙🤍
