The entire 5th grade celebrated Pi Day in Math class today. Thank you to all of the families who donated and helped make today so fun! Besides enjoying some delicious pie, the highlight of the day was a competition to see which student in each homeroom could memorize and recite the most digits of pi! Congratulations to all our winners! Ryan (62 digits), Nora (74 digits), Elise (100 digits), Bryce (148 digits), and Mackenzie (204 digits).

Last week, Mrs. Walla's sixth grade math students found their heart rate while resting and completing a few exercises in class. Students discussed and found the unit rate, bpm which stands for beats per minute. ❤️
