5th graders in Buchanan, Schodowski, and Fitzgerald homerooms celebrated Valentine’s Day today. There was some tough competition as students voted on the “Most Original”, “Funniest”, and “Best Overall” categories in their class. Congratulations to all of the winners!

Mrs Hutchinson's class spent Day 3 at Starbase learning about rocketry. They practiced measurement skills and teamwork to make adjustments during trials.
These Valentine’s Day boxes from Ms. Hann’s class were entered into the 4th grade contest! Congrats Parker Sutherland on winning first place!
On Tuesday, the fourth grade steam class finished a paper chain challenge. Using two pieces of construction paper and only 12 inches of tape, they had to design and construct a paper chain that was durable enough to be transported to the front of the room. The longest chain was 10 feet 8 inches!!!!

Varsity Boys Basketball avenged Friday's loss with a 74-38 win over North Branch! Players up and down the roster contributed in the win.
The 7th and 8th grade teams also scored wins in thier games against Armada.

On Thursday, the Middle School Competitive Cheer team opened their league competition while the varsity wrapped up league-play at home.
RMS Blue squad took home first place, while the varsity finished third in their competition and third overall in the BWAC.
Districts is Saturday at Cros-Lex, start time is 2:00.
