Connor is a three-sport athlete at RHS, playing football and golfing in addition to wrestling. He plans to study Buisness.

The boys defeated both Algonac and Armada.
The girls earned a split, defeating the Muskrats and losing to the Tigers.

6th grade Social studies students learned about different countries in Central America and the Caribbean. Ms. Churchill’s students shared what they learned with classmates in a “Hand up-Pair up” activity.

RMS Builders Club has been on a roll this past month!
They successfully installed a Little Free Library, organized a school grounds clean-up after Spring Break, and last week, they held a special pinning ceremony to officially induct new members into Builders Club International.

Five RMS band students were selected and participated in MSBOA District 16 Honors Band. Held at Lakeview High School, these students learned new music in just seven hours of rehearsal and performed along side of some of the best middle school musicians in the area. Students in Mrs. Zimmer’s 8th grade ELA classes worked on their speaking and listening skills through Socratic Seminars. Students did a wonderful job discussing the informational articles they have been reading over the last few weeks!









The RHS freshman class met with Ms. Retman, the student advocate, to work on good communication skills. Partners were blindfolded and had to make their way through a "minefield", being lead by the guidance of their peers.

Students in 6th grade STEAM Innovations are currently exploring STEM careers using EverFi program. Students solve simulated problems and answer questions and assessments to become STEM certified. The program produces various STEM careers that may be a good fit based on questions and responses throughout the units.
