In light of the recent tragedies in neighboring school districts, we know many of our students may be feeling sadness, worry, or fear—even if they did not personally know the students who passed away. At Richmond Community Schools, we want families to know that support is available.
Superintendent Walmsley has shared an important message outlining the resources in place to help our students, including free counseling sessions through CARE of Southeast Michigan. These services are available to every Richmond student, grades PreK–12, and are designed to provide comfort and guidance when life’s challenges feel overwhelming.

Together, we will continue to care for one another and surround our students with the compassion and understanding they deserve.
