Due to the icy conditions on the backroads, drifting snow, and overall unsafe travel conditions throughout our community, Richmond Community Schools will be closed on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
A large portion of our district’s 72 square miles consists of gravel and dirt roads, many of which are currently not safely passable for buses or student drivers. Out of an abundance of caution for our students, staff, drivers, and families, all district buildings will be closed and all school-related activities are canceled unless otherwise communicated by a program advisor or coach.
