Dear Parents,
I am pleased to share some positive news for our students and families. The Fiscal Year 2026 School Aid Budget, approved by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on October 7, 2025, continues funding for the Michigan School Meals (MSM) program for the 2025–26 school year.
This means that every Richmond Community Schools student will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the entire school year.
