See You at the Pole (SYATP) is a nationwide, student-led event where students gather around their school’s flagpole before the start of the school day to pray for their school, friends, teachers, community, and nation. What began in 1990 with a small group of students in Texas has grown into a worldwide tradition encouraging reflection, encouragement, and unity.
Richmond students will again have the opportunity to participate by gather at the flagpole before school starts on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Staff and community members are welcome to join students; however, it is important to remember that this is a student-led initiative. Adults are present to support students, not necessarily to lead the event.
Participation is completely voluntary and open to any student who wishes to attend.
