Jamie Clausen

Classes: I am highly qualified to teach Mathematics 6-8, all subjects K-5 and Special Education K-12.
Education Experience: Masters of Arts in Special Education - Saginaw Valley State University Bachelors of Science -Wayne State University
I have been teaching since 2003. I began my career in education teaching middle school general education mathematics at a middle school in Mount Clemens. My second year in education lead me down the path of special education. Once I embarked on this path, I then was placed in the position of a special education teacher.
In 2013 my path lead me to Richmond. This is the start to my seventh year with Richmond Community Schools. I have had the opportunity to work both in the High School and Middle School in Richmond. In addition to teaching Mathematics, I also serve as the Teacher Consultant for the Middle School's Special Education Department. I am highly qualified to teach elementary education all subjects, mathematics grades 6-8 and special education grades K-12.
In my time in Richmond I have had the pleasure of serving on the PTA, the CST Team, the PBIS Team, to serve as the coordinator of the WEB program, and as a co-coordinator of the Green Team, the School Store and the Spanish Club.
