I started teaching in 2001.

I went into teaching because I have always wanted to do something to help people.

Outside of the Classroom:
I coach bowling at the high school.  I can often be seen at sporting events here at RHS as a spectator.  I coached football in Richmond for many years here as well.  I also run a youth bowling league on Saturday mornings.

I have spent more then a decade teaching in Richmond.  I taught for four years at the Middle School, and have spent the rest at the high school.  I have a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and will finish my Master's in education from Central Michigan soon.  I'm certified in Math and Science and enjoy teaching both.  I have four children in the Richmond district and my wife also teaches at the high school.  I enjoy many sports and I'm an avid bowler and golfer.  I have coached in the past both baseball and football.
