I started teaching in 1992.
I became a teacher because I enjoyed school and my teachers.

Outside of the classroom:
I am the co-adviser of the Student Government at RHS. I have served on the School Improvement Committee and like to attend many of the sporting events and plays.
In my career at RHS I earned the title of "Teacher of the Year" as a representative of Macomb County and Richmond Schools.

Personal Note:
I am married to my husband Eric. We have 3 children. They are all attending college at Central Michigan University, Ferris State University and Ball State University. We also have a new edition to the family: a dog named Coco. I enjoy walking her, biking, boating and traveling.
