Welcome Families of Richmond Community Schools to the 2021-2022 School Year!
We are ecstatic to inform you that Richmond Community Schools will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option as part of our National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs for the 2021-2022 School year. The great news is that all enrolled students will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE at school or at our Virtual Meal Pickup.
Richmond Community Schools received notice that we are able to extend our Summer Food Service Program until further notice. This allows the District to provide breakfast and lunch to in-person and virtual/online students at no cost to minimize the financial challenges to families during the pandemic.
Menu information for in-person breakfasts and lunches are shown below. There is also a section below for menus, ordering, and pick-up information for breakfasts and lunches for virtual/online students.
For all students, please continue to submit applications for free and reduced meal benefits. Approved applications may provide additional food benefits to families and additional grant funding for the District and our community.
Applications may be made on-line at familyportal.cloud, or paper applications are available at each school office. The website, www.LunchApp.com, is the quickest, safest, and most secure way to apply for meal benefits. Only the Director of Food Service sees applications submitted through familyportal.cloud. Applications received during food service office hours are processed immediately, or the morning following receipt for applications received after hours.
As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding our school meals program.
Sincerely,
Katherine Guiney
Director of Food Service
