Hello My Name Is...

Marissa Isca

I currently teach 1st grade at Will L. Lee Elementary. This is my first year in Richmond and my fourth year of teaching. I have taught both first and second grade. I am loving it in Richmond, and I believe that first grade is so much fun and such an important year filled with learning! ☺

I grew up in Macomb Township and attended Chippewa Valley Schools from K-12. I attended in Michigan State University and graduated in 2018 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Language Arts and Mathematics. I moved to Richmond in 2021 and live with my fiancé and our two cats. We are getting married in July 2024! ☺

Outside of the classroom I love reading, traveling, cooking, and doing anything outdoors!

I cannot wait to continue to grow as an educator and spread my passion for learning throughout my teaching career in Richmond.
