I am highly qualified to to teach Elementary Education K-5 Grade Levels and 6-8 Grade Level Science and English. I currently teach K-4 Technology at Lee Elementary.

Experience:
I starting teaching in 1994 at Carlson Elementary in Van Dyke Public School District and taught 3rd Grade for 14 years. I then taught at Lincoln Middle School for 2 years. The following year I became the Elementary Technology Instructor. In 2015 I was very fortunate to begin teaching in Richmond Community Schools as the technology instructor. I am very passionate about helping students learn new ways to use technology. In addition to my teaching duties I am also a Mentor Teacher for new teachers. I am a certified in the 21 Things for the 21st Century. I am also on the PBiS committee for supporting positive behavior at Lee Elementary.
Outside the Classroom:
I have two children that attend Lee Elementary, Alaina 9, and Liam 4. They keep me pretty busy outside the classroom. I enjoy bike riding, swimming and going to our cottage with my husband and family. I also love playing volleyball!
