I started teaching in 1984 and have been either a principal or assistant principal since 1994. I went into education because I believe in the education system and enjoy working with students.  I chose to go into administration with the thought in the mind that I could do more.

I began my career in Catholic Education as I spent 18 years at St. Clement Catholic High School.  I taught Business Education classes for ten years and served as Principal for eight years. In 2000, I was awarded the Principal of the Year by the Catholic Association of Secondary Administrators.

Outside of the Classroom:
I am a member of the Michigan Association of Secondary School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Administrators.  I am actively involved in both the BWAC and the MAC administrators professional groups.  From 2008-2011 I was President of the Macomb Career Technical Education Administrator's Association.  I have also been acknowledge by the principals in Macomb County for my dedication and commitment to the Macomb Principals All County Academic Banquet.

When I am not at school, you could find me outside working in my gardens. I love to camp and spend a lot of time at Silver Lake or the Gaylord area. Most summers you will find me in my jeep on the sand dunes of Silver Lake.
