One note is an online learning tool that allows students to generate
their own knowledge through online research, collaborative learning, and
discussion forums. Using One note allows teachers to "share" the
power of learning. Due to the student interactions that take place,
One note requires a username and password to enter if students go through their school e-mail account. If they have their school laptops, they can just click on the link one the desk top that says One note.
I am highly qualified to teach math and science. I'm currently teaching Chemistry, Personal Finance, and Honors Geometry.
Major: Mathematics (EX certificate)
Minor: General Science (DX certificate)
Bachelor of Science
I started teaching in 2001.
I went into teaching because I have always wanted to do something to help people.
Outside of the Classroom:
I coach baseball at the high school and little league levels in
Richmond. I can often be seen at sporting events here at RHS as a
spectator. I coached football in Richmond for many years here as well.
I also run a youth bowling league on Saturday mornings.
I have spent more then a decade teaching in Richmond. I taught for four
years at the Middle School, and have spent the rest at the high school.
I have a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and will
finish my Master's in education from Central Michigan soon. I'm
certified in Math and Science and enjoy teaching both. I have four
children in the Richmond district and my wife also teaches at the high
school. I enjoy many sports and I'm an avid bowler and golfer. I have
coached in the past both baseball and football.
