I am the Director of Food Service for Richmond Community Schools with oversight responsibility for the school meals program at all buildings. I have over 15 years of school food service experience, over 20 years of leadership experience and have been the Director of Food Service for Richmond Community Schools for over 5 years. I am a certified instructor and proctor for the ServSafe Manager Food Safety course through the National Restaurant Association. I am also an active member of the School Nutrition Association (SNA) and the School Nutrition Association of Michigan (SNAM). I hold School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) professional certification from SNA and I am a Statewide Training Instructor for SNAM, certified to teach over 10 food service related courses. This is my first year teaching high school students.

I hold an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn, MI. and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, MI. I have also taken several culinary management courses through Macomb Community College, Clinton Twp., MI.

I am married with four adult children ages 23 - 35 and we are looking forward to the birth of our first grandchild in December, 2017. I enjoy sailing, hiking, camping, cooking and spending time at or on the water. I volunteer with SNAM, the North Macomb Sportsmen's Club in Washington, MI and the Crescent Sail Yacht Club in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.
